How to Leave a legacy donation

RAD is funded through grants, client subsbscriptions, donations and sponsorships.  You may wish to leave a Legacy Donation to RAD in your will.  See below on how you can do this.

HOW TO LEAVE YOUR LEGACY

If you would like to leave a gift in your Will to support RAD’s work, we strongly recommend you that you speak to a solicitor to ensure that your wishes will be carried out as you intend.

You will need to take the following details with you:

• Recovery Assistance Dogs (T/A RAD Assistance Dogs)
• Registered address: PO Boc 11044, Coalville, Leicestershire, LE67 1YY
• Registered charity number: 1125395 (England and Wales)

An example of wording you could use:

I leave my / X share (s) of my residuary estate for Recovery Assistance Dogs (Trading as RAD Assistance Dogs), registered charity number 1125395 (England and Wales), absolutely for its general charitable purposes and I declare that the receipt of the treasurer or other proper officer for the time being shall be a sufficient discharge to my executors.
