MEET THE TEAM / Volunteers
Volunteer Dog Trainer and Newsletter Editor
My name is Lucy James, and I am a Volunteer for RAD.
I am currently studying BSc Bioveterinary Science at Hartpury University and work part time in pet retail.
From a young age I have been passionate about all animals and keen to continue learning throughout my life about these wonderful creatures we share the planet with.
I have experience in many sectors of the animal industry from placements in veterinary practices, a canine hydrotherapy centre, rearing calves on a dairy unit and culturing autologous stem cell treatments for dogs with osteoarthritis and joint ailments.
I am finally stepping foot into the world of dog training following a long-time interest in dog behaviour and training techniques, and it is a pleasure to begin this journey with a charity providing a life changing service to its members.
